What is a Podcast?
A podcast is a method of publishing files via the Internet, allowing you to subscribe and download new files automatically. If you want to automatically download copies of the sermons each week then this is for you.
Getting Started
We recommend using iTunes to subscribe to our podcast. It's easy, just follow these steps and you'll subscribed in no time!
First
If you do not have iTunes installed on your computer then please visit the following link to download a free copy. Follow the instructions provided by Apple to install iTunes on your computer and then continue to the next step.![]()
Second
With iTunes installed on your computer you should now click on the following link to begin the subscription process. You will be asked if you want to launch iTunes. Click "Launch application". Continue to next step.![]()
Third
Click on the "View in iTunes" button, this will open iTunes if it''s not already open. In iTunes, click on the "Subscribe Free" button. You will be asked if you want to subscribe so click "Subscribe". At this point you are now subscribed to the podcast. iTunes will automatically check to see if there are new versions of the podcast. For additional instructions on listening to podcasts continue to the next step.
Listening to the Podcast
iTunes offers a menu down the left side of the application window with the various types of media in your library. You can click on the "Podcasts" button and you should now see the 3 Degrees Church podcast in the list of podcasts available for you to listen to. Double click on the episode you wish to play.
Downloading Previous Podcasts
Podcasts that have not been downloaded will appear grayed out in your podcast directory. You can click the "GET" button next to each individual podcast to download single podcasts or click the "GET ALL" button next to the podcast title to download all the available podcasts from 3 Degrees Church.
Non iTunes Alternative - Advanced Users
The feed url is http://feeds.feedburner.com/3DegreesChurchSermonPodcasts . You can view the available podcasts and save them to your computer by right-clicking (Windows) or control-clicking (Mac) and selecting "Save link as..." then selecting the destination on your computer.
