Band Tournament Application

Thank you for your interest in playing in the annual 3 Degrees Band Tournament! NEW for the 2011-2012 season we are introducing some changes…
Instead of bands playing in rounds 1 and 2, we will be hosting closed auditions for all registrants which will determine which bands advance to the semi-finals (formerly round 3). Each Semi-Finals night will feature 5-6 bands performing for 20 minutes each. From the semi-finals, 10 bands will advance to the Finals. The Finals will take place over two nights and will be judged by a National Industry Judge Panel. Registrations are on a first come, first serve basis. The registration fee is only $25 and includes a 15 minute audition with feedback and a review by a judge panel. If you are selected to advance your $25 registration fee will be applied to the tournament entry fee which is $125 if you registered by August 1, 2011 or $175 after August 1, 2011.
The mission of 3 Degrees Ministries is to reach people with the love of Jesus Christ through music. Therefore, only music with a positive message that glorifies Him is allowed. We ask that you perform/play only original music. (In other words, secular cover tunes or secular cover tunes that have been redone by a Christian artist are not allowed). Changes in words or music to secular cover tunes are also not allowed. However, you may do/redo praise and worship songs or hymns or Christian cover tunes. We require that all lyrics (play list if you are a DJ) and/or a brief testimony reflect the fact that you are a Christian artist. Submission of this application confirms your agreement and support of our mission and that your performance will demonstrate that support. Please note, this application does not GUARANTEE you a spot in the 2011/2012 Band Tournament. Once we receive a copy of your lyrics, recorded songs, and your application fee you will then be applicable for a spot in the 2011/2012 Band Tournament. Thank you!

Step 2 | Registration and Tournament Fee
All Registrants are required to pay a $25 registration fee with their application.
Minnesota Bands
Signed up and paid by Aug 1st and Audition in September: $125 ($100 after applying credit from your registration fee)
Signed up and paid after August 15th: $175 ($150 after applying credit from your registration fee)
